Beaver Scouts (6-8)

Children join Beavers around their 6th birthday. A Beaver section is referred to as a Colony and ours meet on Monday evenings between 5.30 and 6.45pm. Most, but not all meetings, are held at the hall.

All children make a ‘promise’ as part of their investiture. At Beavers the promise is:

I promise to do my best, to be kind and helpful and to love God.

For more information on Beavers visit the UK Scout Association website at: http://members.scouts.org.uk/beavers/

If you have a child aged less than 8 years old, interested in joining the Scouting movement, then please email groupscoutleader@1sthaywardsheathscoutgroup.org

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
