Scouts is for children aged 10½-14 years old. Typical activities in our weekly programme include hiking, climbing, archery, crafts, pioneering, and cooking on fires. We love teaching Scouting skills and many of our programme ideas are suggested by our young people.

We offer a weekend Winter Camp and a longer Summer camp most years, attending activity centres and jamborees. At Scouts, there are also optional weekend activities like the London Monopoly Run, Checkpoint Challenge Day, Swimming Gala, Escape and Evasion, and the district hiking program.

We meet on Monday evenings at the 1st Haywards Heath Scout Hut 7-9pm. At present we have a maximum of 24 Scouts in the troop at any one time and currently hold a Waiting List – if you wish to be added to the list just press join now, enter your details and we will be in touch.
